| I understand everyone has their own opinions, but what I don't understand is why people love this so much. People brag how he's been rapping since he was 12, if someone's been rapping that long (for him over half his life) I'd expect them to be way better.

A fantastic, truthful album. The production is top notch, playing to the overall and well defined theme of the album: Pain, Loss, and the refusal to accept defeat. This is the first time I am glad to see such a short album. He obviously knew what he was doing, because the album ends where it needs to. It is a very tightly wrapped package, with no filler songs. | I bought Paper Trail because I loved the first two singles released (Whatever You Like and Live Your Life). I had no idea until I got the CD how many INCREDIBLE collaborations were on this album (Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake AND John Legend -- among others -- just incredible). It's obvious from listening to the lyrics that TI spent his time wisely reflecting on his life, and the consequences of his actions that resulted in his house arrest. | Because "Release Therapy" was so different than his other CDs, I expected a "Release Therapy" Part 2, but he kinda reached back to his younger, cornrows days with this CD, specifically with songs like "One More Drink" and "What Them Girls Like." I was completely lost with the chorus of "Everybody Hates Chris," but it was an interesting concept. He's the only artist I know who would make THAT his chorus though. | Alicia Keys is seriously talented but when will she release a soul album I mean Fallin' is great as is A Women's Worth but whats's with all the hip hop beats? and she keeps ad libbing and going ah yea come on yo what e.c.t like she is about to spit.
Please just stick to the soul the other stuff does not suit her if she did an album full of tracks like Fallin she would release a classic, as it stands this is very hit and miss. |

| There is no way you will ever get closer to the utopia you experience when you listen to this outstanding album. I hope for the sake of every being in the universe that we will see many, many more T-Pain albums in the future. | Overall, this is seriously bland. This album has few bright spots- the brightest of which, "Paper Planes", leaves all other tracks in the dust.
This could've easily been a fairly solid EP of 5 tracks, but as a 12-track album, this is desperately lacking substance. Desperately. It appears as though she rushed this release to take advantage of the hype brought by her debut. Disappointing. |

| I bought this CD to support the campaign & for the memorabilia. Finally popped it in the player this week on the way to work. BIG MISTAKE! Hard to drive when you're crying! Not only moved by snippets of Obama inspiring in that way he does...but also by the most memorable words of Martin Luther King. I knew the CD would be a good campaign memory, but was really impressed and excited by the inspiration and great choices of the music. | This is what music is all about to me--a great beat that makes it hard to stay sitting down, with a MESSAGE. This isnt your generic 'irie mon' reggae (which i love), this is ala bob or ziggy or stephen marley--inspirational words that make you think hard about important things, but make you realize you are happy to be alive.
