| It's sad that Stevie Wonder is best known and will be remembered by most for his ballads ala the schticky "I Just Called To Say I Loved You." This album confirms his genius and echoes strangely enough for me - The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's album. Songs like "Village Ghetto Land" reflect a storytelling aspect.
Like many artists of the seventies, Stevie was pretty progressive on this one. Some serious music here crossing a wide range of styles. |

| What a great collection!! The music is fun and uplifting, I enjoy the
vocals and the melody combination on this disc. Many of the songs are in my record collection of days gone bye. My purchase was prompted when I watched the movie about the Temptations. As I drive to work I listen to the Cd everyday!!!! It is great way to start my day!!!!! Linda Rozner |

| Being a music lover and an musician, this 2 disc set was too good to pass up. Growing up in the 60's & 70's, I always knew this music was more intricate underneath than it's beautiful heartfelt melodies would imply.
I played in many bands over the past 30+ years and I have been praised by many for my ability to improvise, but I'm glad in my younger days, I wasn't aware of what was going on underneath those Motown soulful vocals...if I had, I may have never touched my bass again!
