| A delightful package of holiday music. To my surprise the theme music from Loretta Young's CHRISTMAS EVE by Johnny Mandel now has lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. To me it is the highlight of the album. A lush arrangement of ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU.

| This CD was a good idea, but fails because of some songs that just aren't very interesting (St. Elmos's - who wants to hear that again?) And American Idol runner up (it's worst year) Katharine McPhee is less talented than most lounge singers. To hear and watch her sing with Andrea is just awful. It sounds and looks like a master singer is teaching a freshman college student who has big dreams of being a singer. | I was first aware that three priests would be bringing out a CD of music when I saw and read an article on them in 'Time' Magazine. That article promised great things.
I was given the CD earlier this week by a friend here in Hong Kong. I have been listening to it constantly since. | I like Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Their first CD (CHRISTMAS EVE AND OTHER STORIES) is easily one of my top ten favorite Christmas albums. (Maybe even top five.) Two years ago, my wife and I had the pleasure of seeing them in a sold-out concert performance in Houston. And I hope they continue to make great Christmas music in the future, although I've heard that LOST CHRISTMAS EVE will be their final venture into the Christmas music arena.

| I read the reviews and have heard the samples of the music. In all honesty I can't buy this album. Chip, I enjoy going to your Christmas Concerts when you are in my area (Orange County Ca.). | My husband and I are huge fans of TSO. We go to their concert every year here in Atlanta. When you're in a concert setting, sometimes you can't quite hear all the words. (Granted: all the lighting and fireworks and snow are a little distracting! LOL!) However, when you listen to the CD, and can hear the words, the songs are even more powerful.

| This album was released on compact disc in October of 1990 but it was released on vinyl records sometime between 1969 to 1972. I grew up listening to it most years until I started on my own path. Of course in my younger days the appreciation for Christmas orchestra music was not there. Only rediscovered it on amazon.com in 1994. It's great to play low as background music on Christmas day while opening gifts or while friends and relatives are talking about. Great booklet inside with lots of historical info. Also comes with a first edition "Frank" stamp from Las Vegas P.O.
