| What's with the never-ending Christmas theme? We all love holidays, but come on! Also, the scaling back of vocals does not make this genre of music better.. it makes it worse. Look for other, more interesting artists who are using multiple vocal layers. Enya is too far out of touch now. |

| This CD was a good idea, but fails because of some songs that just aren't very interesting (St. Elmos's - who wants to hear that again?) And American Idol runner up (it's worst year) Katharine McPhee is less talented than most lounge singers. To hear and watch her sing with Andrea is just awful. It sounds and looks like a master singer is teaching a freshman college student who has big dreams of being a singer. | I read the reviews and have heard the samples of the music. In all honesty I can't buy this album. Chip, I enjoy going to your Christmas Concerts when you are in my area (Orange County Ca.). Your music is unique, but I can't see myself going to your Christmas concert if all you play is the music from your new album. "Thanksgiving": This song is ALWAYS the first thing I hear early Thanksgiving morning just before sunrise while the world is calm, quiet...and typically quite cold!...outside. | There have been many Manheim Steamroller Christmas CDs over the years, at least seven that I know of. "Fresh Aire Christmas" was the second I believe, and in my opinion far and away the best. It's not that the other CDs weren't good, they were. But this collection is exceptional. From the opening fanfare of "Hark! The Herald Trumpets Sing" to the last beautiful notes of "O Holy Night" there is not one bad song here.

| Christmas by Mannheim Steamroller is a gorgeous Christmas cd, this is my second favorite cd from this instrumental band. I enjoy listening to this album every December, you gotta hear it for yourself. I highly recommend it! |

| While I enjoy the music on the CD which I bought from amazon.com, I cannot seem to download it to my real player and play it on my computer as I can every other CD I buy. Also, I can only hear it by going to their website which came up as netscape which is no longer supported. I'm not sure if these people are just behind in technology or doing something weird to protect against piracy or what but probably I won't buy any more of this artist's work. |
