Really wanted to hear her defintive interpretations of 'Corcovado' (after being captivated by EBTG's brilliant drum 'n bass remake) and the seminal standard 'The Girl From Ipanema', and am really enjoying this album. |

| I bought this CD based on the reviews and it was everything everyone said it was. I have older children that are in college and want the CD because when they listen to it with their brother, it's so relaxing. If you want gentle background music to lull your child to sleep, this is it. If you want to destress with soothing music, this is it. Excellent. |

| Beware - the Amazon track listing lists the song writers, not the artists. For instance 'Isn't She Lovely' lists Stevie Wonder but on the CD the song is sung by Livingston Taylor - not a bad rendition but not what I was expecting.
This is a Chesky label compilation (sp?) CD. Title should be "World's Greatist Audophile Vocal Recordings On Our Label" I should return the CD but don't feel like going to the trouble. |

| I really enjoy listening to Wave. I find the sound relaxing and the songs enjoyable. I recently started listening to the famous Getz/Gilberto album and I wanted to pickup albums from some of the other artists featured on it, hence Wave. Good album and I would recommend it to anyone who liked Getz/Gilberto. |

| .............never heard of Karryn Allison until just now? I am nearly 60 years old and love love love "musica brasileira" from almost anyone who can pull off a good recording. This CD is just amazing, and I've heard lots of artists try to record these songs.
I spent 2 years in Brasil many years ago and loved what I heard so have always loved the music. Karryn has a great voice and I am going to go seek out other things she has done. Great CD!! |

| Any CD that Eliane Elias brings out is guaranteed to be a best seller. She is a terrific pianist, singer and performer and this CD doesnt disappoint in any way. Toots Thielman's rendition on one track is goose- bump making. This is a must for all Eliane Elias fans to have in their collection. |
