| My first listen was a little tainted....in fear Mutt Lange was going to turn these guys into 80's Def Leppard. Def Lep is great, but I like Nickelback's sound and didn't want a change. Besides Leopardized backing vocals on a few of the songs, Lange didn't do much in my opinion.
Tracks 1,2,3, 8 and 9 are my favorites, but after many a few listens, every song will grow on you. |

| When the music started, I stopped; and I didn't get up again until the last tune had run its course. | I have been a fan of Sarah McLachlan for a long time now. I first discovered her back in the very early '90s with her first two albums TOUCH and SOLACE prior to her meteoric rise in pop music. I always wished that people who jumped on the Sarah McLachlan bandwagon with her third album FUMBLING TOWARDS ECSTASY had heard her earlier material. | One doesn't have to be Cajun or from Louisiana to enjoy this music, but for those of us who are, the latest work from this extraordinary group of young Cajun artists speaks to our soul. Their synergy, creativity, instrumental mastery, and heart bring Cajun music and culture alive. Living in Texas, I don't get to hear them perform live nearly as much as I'd like, but in the meantime, Cow Island Hop will do just fine. With this group leading the next generation telling our stories, the Cajun culture is indeed in good hands. Great album!

| Very disappointed in this album, there was not one song on this album that I really liked. Normally, I like Sarah but not this time. The album will go in my file and probably not be used!

| While I enjoy the music on the CD which I bought from amazon.com, I cannot seem to download it to my real player and play it on my computer as I can every other CD I buy. Also, I can only hear it by going to their website which came up as netscape which is no longer supported. I'm not sure if these people are just behind in technology or doing something weird to protect against piracy or what but probably I won't buy any more of this artist's work. |

| They clearly sound like Nickleback and this is the first time I ever heard them.They sound related throw in a little puddle of mud and seether.I think of them the same as Nickleback they can make some good stuff but the girly songs like Not Meant To Be if they both didnt make crap like this I'd like them both much more.I understand they both make music for females but that doesn't make it good.I know both bands can make more meaner stuff instead of these cheesy love songs that make me want to sleep.

| I bought this CD for the song "Dante's Prayer" but fell in love with the the entire CD and all the music of Loreena McKennitt. Dante's Prayer is the most beautiful song I have ever heard. I am not exaggerating at all. Loreens's music is like food to the soul. I bought other CD's by Loreena McKennitt and they are all great and well worth buying. "The Book Of Secrets" is still my very favorite. Great for relaxing. Let Loreena take you back to a time when chivalry and romance was at it's peak.
