| My son got this CD as a birthday present and he likes it a lot. I just finished listening to it and once again find myself enjoying the poetic prose these artists offer. I was a Calle 13 fan before, but now I'm infatuated, they have tapped into different styles of music, plus have collaborated with some top notch musicians in this album. Then there's the lyrics... Hands down Calle 13 is witty, sharp and by all means irreverent. |

| A la verdad que ya aburren con lo mismo. Ni se molesten en comprar este cd. A menos que te haya gustado Los Extraterrestre que para mi es una basura. No hay evolucion es el mismo estilo de Los Extraterrestre y La melodia de la calle de Tony Dize incluiria a Los Vaqueros pero para aquel tiempo era un sonido diferente. | I've been a DY fan for a long time, so maybe I'm biased. But this CD is AWESOME! Unlike his previous CD "El Cartel," which was mostly focused on manufactured dance hits and contained a few duds (Papi Lover, anyone?), "Talento de Barrio" shows his real maturation as an artist. Every track on this CD is a winner in its own way. The tracks with guest artists are especially good. | Sorry but this cd isn't even worth paying full price for in my opinion. There really are no imaginative lyrics at all, and there really aren't too many songs that even stand out. This seems to be a drop-off from his earlier cd's, and it almost seems like he just rushed to throw the album together. He also has rappers appearing on the cd that no one has heard of before, and their lyrics are worse than his. I have been a Pitbull fan for a few years, but this cd really disappoints! |
