| Ever since I read a synopsis of her life and music career in the newspaper a year ago, I was intrigued. I went to see her in a small local theater, and since then I was hooked. She mixes African and Spanish rythms with jazz and Latin beats to create an amazing sound. Her voice is captivating and penetrating. She portrays herself through her music. |

The love of music this band give to us, the listeners, cant be paid for by money. This is music that embrases all the good things in life. | When I first learned of Chayanne's Vivo release I was really excited because this man delivers a performance that is in a league of its own and I knew that the DVD would totally ROCK! I was right!! I didn't expect the DVD to be able to match the electric passion felt at a live concert but I was pleasantly surprised, and dare I say "electrified!" by the masterful way in which this show conveys all the magic of seeing Chayanne in person. | I discovered Astrud Gilberto quite by accident when rummaging thru my sister's extensive jazz album collection...
Really wanted to hear her defintive interpretations of 'Corcovado' (after being captivated by EBTG's brilliant drum 'n bass remake) and the seminal standard 'The Girl From Ipanema', and am really enjoying this album. |

| I've just "discovered" Javier Colina here in Montevideo, Uruguay, South America, during the Jazz Tour Festival in September 2008.
I was absolutely amazed by his technique, his swing and his joy in making music. Once at home after the concert I found this CD in Amazon and I said to myself: These two men together must be dynamite. | it is such a treat to hear anything by Milton that i must admit to a large amount of bias. of course, he's not the Milton of decades ago but he's still the best to me and my favorite. he has no equal in my book. there are some small technical flaws in my cd that may however not occur in other copies. |
