| What's with the never-ending Christmas theme? We all love holidays, but come on! Also, the scaling back of vocals does not make this genre of music better.. it makes it worse. Look for other, more interesting artists who are using multiple vocal layers. Enya is too far out of touch now. |

| I have to tell you the first time I listened to this CD, it was like angels were singing. It brought tears to my eyes. I've always loved O Holy Night and theirs is a beautiful rendition of it. There are tracks that I find myself skipping over at times but all in all it's a gorgeous Christmas CD. |

I think Israel Kamakawiwo'ole ( the fearless eyes the bold face) had a magic touch in his voice and in the way he was able to improvise and rearrange all the songs he sang. the story behind the medley that changed the world is quite interesting ..it is on his biography that Amazon sells as well called: IZ voice of the people. in short: he called the studio in the middle of the night saying he had something in mind and he absolutely had to record it .. he was so persistent ... | I was curious to hear this CD given Bruni's notoriety over the years. Overall it's a dull outing. The production is virtually identical from song to song, with Bruni's average voice (sounds like a French Dido) mixed far forward with almost no reverb in every song. And there's nary a backing vocal or harmony track anywhere on this CD. Just the same presentation song after song. Was the producer asleep?

| This was my first exposure to these ladies - I was totally blown away by their clarity. I can't fault any of them at all. Mairead, the fiddler, has such a distinctive and beautiful style of playing I find myself (not literally) throwing rocks at other fiddlers. I don't believe she ever hits a bad note. The orchestra is also first-rate.

| Ever since I read a synopsis of her life and music career in the newspaper a year ago, I was intrigued. I went to see her in a small local theater, and since then I was hooked. She mixes African and Spanish rythms with jazz and Latin beats to create an amazing sound. Her voice is captivating and penetrating. She portrays herself through her music. |
