also, the seller said it was in very good condition yet the disc and case were scratched to hell. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! |

| I think that Gutherie's "HAPPY JOYOUS HANUKKAH" CD is great, especially for children. The songs are surely joyous and wonderful to listen to. My only complaint were the addition of 4 pieces ("Gilad and Ziv's Sibra", "Latke Flip-Flop", "Groovy"s Freyekhs", and "Spin Dreydl Spin") that were not written by Gutherie and made no sense for this project.

| You certainly do NOT have to be Jewish to enjoy this CD....Very funny, heartwarming and nostalgic....I remembered some skits from the 60's and 70's. At times we play it in the car and make our trip seem fast as we LAUGH away.... |

| I have started a collection of Klezmer music and I have never been disappointed by what I have found here on Amazon. The music is such an intricate part of the Jewish culture and this particular CD will alternately squeeze your heart and make your clap your hands...awesome! |

| I've had these two albums on vinyl for ages; I think my (grand?)parents bought them new, but they've gotten so worn over the past half-century that a CD reissue is welcome. Really good stuff. I hope they get the rest of Theo's LPs out; I'd love to see "Bravo Bikel: The Town Hall Concert" back in print.
Nitpick: Many of the tracks as listed here are mixed up; for whatever reason, they've got the titles switched around. If you want to buy individual songs from this collection, definitely preview them first so you ... Read More: |
