| Ever since I read a synopsis of her life and music career in the newspaper a year ago, I was intrigued. I went to see her in a small local theater, and since then I was hooked. She mixes African and Spanish rythms with jazz and Latin beats to create an amazing sound. Her voice is captivating and penetrating. She portrays herself through her music. |

The love of music this band give to us, the listeners, cant be paid for by money. This is music that embrases all the good things in life. | When I first learned of Chayanne's Vivo release I was really excited because this man delivers a performance that is in a league of its own and I knew that the DVD would totally ROCK! I was right!! I didn't expect the DVD to be able to match the electric passion felt at a live concert but I was pleasantly surprised, and dare I say "electrified!" by the masterful way in which this show conveys all the magic of seeing Chayanne in person. | First let me confess, I am a BIG fan of Ricky Martin. So, most all of his work impresses me. But this DVD and the almost twin CD are something I'd like non Ricky fans to see and hear. He's so much more than Livin' La Vida Loca. The guy's got a deep, lush voice (just listen to 'Tu Recuredo" on the "17" CD--from his MTV UNPLUGGED release--another GREAT CD & DVD). The man can sing!! | I've just "discovered" Javier Colina here in Montevideo, Uruguay, South America, during the Jazz Tour Festival in September 2008.
I was absolutely amazed by his technique, his swing and his joy in making music.
