| I have listened to Joan Baez songs since I was in grammar school and I am just as much in awe of her voice now as I was then (the sixties). Persoanlly I appreciate the more religious tones of the CD. After the recent political roller coaster that we have been on it is nice to be able to sit down, listen to music that actually talks to our thoughts, and relax our spirits. | Geat Music if you are a CCR Fan and if you aren't, You will be by the time you finish listening. CCR had a Very distint sound and some great music came out of that sound.
Other reviewers have done a much better job of reviewing this CD set, So there's no need to repeat what's already been said. It's a Great collection that can't be beat. |

| It was with "Freewheelin'", his second album, that Bob Dylan established himself as a great songwriter. Featured are all-time classics like "Blowin' In The Wind", "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" and "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright". But some lesser known gems, such as "Bob Dylan's Dream", are also included. "Masters Of War" is at an anti-war song with Dylan at his most venomous and "Girl From The North Country" is one of his most beautiful romantic ballads.

| With the exception of the last song on the disc (Oh, Had I a Golden Thread), these songs were recorded live as Eva Cassidy performed and sang them -- no overdubs or substitutions -- and they sound great. Her voice is wonderful, bright, crisp and clear, and she has a way of making each song her own. The recording also includes her introductions to the songs. If you have her other CDs then you owe it to yourself to get this live set. |

| I really enjoy listening to this CD. The radio doesn't play nearly enough Tracy Chapmans songs. I have only ever heard 2 played on the radio and I listen to a wide variety of music. I'd say that I definitely got my moneys worth. And as always the delivery time was excellent. |

| I suppose after the success of John Wesley Harding Bob Dylan thought going back to Nashville and recording another album was a good idea. I'm wondering if all these years later, if he still feels that way. I know the album was a commercial success, that "Lay Lady Lay" was a top ten hit as a forty-five, but, for me at least, there is something missing here. This is a happy record, recorded by a happy man. At least that's they way it seems to me and that's not the way I like to think of Dylan best. I see him as, if not a leader ... Read More: |
