| Standing alone, this DVD is excellent. My own personal opinion is that I enjoyed previous releases better for the extra contents. I prefer "making of" shorts and documentaries in place of skits, sketches, and SNL performances. I'm sure they are more fun to create though. On a positive note, we know much more about them as individuals in the last 10 years because the performances are less canned. The concert footage has come a long way from the Rio performance that was thrown together after a rain ... Read More: |

| What more can I say that hasn't already been said? This is one of the greatest hard rocking albums of all time. AC/DC sounds like they are playing on top of a cliff as lightning is striking in the background. I don't need to say any more. Buy it already. |

| I won't deny that AC/DC's latest offering, "Black Ice," is nothing more than their standard, straight ahead, gritty, grubby hard rock. But would you expect anything else from these guys? While many hard rock bands that ruled throughout the late 70's/80's modified their sound in an attempt to save their waning careers once the 90's hit, AC/DC was content with sticking to what they did best, which was provide simple, fun hard rock tunes to the masses. | This is a fine compilation of hits from a great band, and truly epitomizes the term "greatest hits". This collection is just that...hits. If you are a fan of Journey, you'll love it. If you've heard one song on this collection, chances are you've heard them all. And if you haven't heard them, one listen and you'll be hooked. |

| The first American release from the sneering and swaggering AC/DC was a torn together pastiche of two Australian albums with a new cover, but that doesn't stop "High Voltage" from giving serious zap power. AC/Dc had already figured out exactly what route (Highway to Hell, maybe) they were taking and began to blast their way to the top. Even with the heavy dose of filler that's on this CD, there's still no way to deny the visceral force of the best songs here.

| Another classic AC/DC album. This is actually AC/DC`s sixth studio album and the one that broke them in the U.S and world wide. It is a brilliant album but what let`s it down a tiny bit for me is the production is a bit polished, but i suppose it had to be done to please some American record company executives. The album Dirty Deeds still hadn`t been released in America even after this album went gold in America. | but this is a good record. It's dynamic. "Dirty Deeds" & "Ride On" are my favorites. AC/DC [like most bands] was better when they were young. Bon Scott had a firmer grasp on the human condition than Brian Johnson, though both wrote a lot of songs about poon, ballzzz, getting drunk, & not being nice all the time. Back in Black and DDDDC are the only AC/DC records I can listen to... both have just enough soul and hooks to keep me interested. DDDDC is Angus's best work. |

| This is a solid Rod Stewart collection but not "definitive." After all, it's missing some of Rod's best songs (not to mention biggest hits) including "Broken Arrow" "All for Love," "Having a Party," "(I know) I'm losing you," and many others. Part of the problem is that Rod has had a lot of hits, but still if you're going to say "definitive" you should have ALL the big hits, not just most of them. |
