| I saw the show in Chicago and loved it. They were selling this same CD in the lobby for $25. I'm glad I resisted and bought it on amazon instead. Great oldies with excellent sound quality. |

| This album is not just the main songs sung in the show but it's almost all of the music and songs in the show!
For example, on the single CD the song Edelweiss is only sung by the Captain, Maria, the children and the chorus but on the 2nd album of this 40th Anniversary edition it's also has the song of Edelweiss sung by the Captain, Liesl and all of the children! | I downloaded the new songs from iTunes since I already own the album and didn't want to have two copies. Also with the iPod I never really look at CD booklets anymore. I'll be talking about the new songs on Disc 2
1. "For Good" is a beautifully redone here with LeeAnn Rimes and Delta Goodrem. I've never heard of the latter singer but she sings very nice.
