| Don't let the 3 star rating fool you. I love Radiohead. In fact, I think a few songs on here are among my favorite of their whole discography.
However, I can't quite say the same over the majority of the album. To me as more of a listener, I don't try exploring all the little nooks and crannies of albums a lot of times and, perhaps and probably, as a result, I really couldn't and still can't see the massive appeal this album brings. | A lot of people hate Bob Dylan's voice too, but in so doing, they miss one of the greatest artists of the rock era. Am I comparing Mangum to Dylan? Hell yes I am.
For those who don't get it, just move on to something more accessible to you. But for those who understand, this is one of the best albums of all time, hands down. |

| This is a must album for all Coldplay fans.
Chris Martin said "this is the album we always wanted to make" and it clearly shows. Unlike their past albums (that I still love) this one offers a distinctive collection of songs with a more layered sound. Aparently Brian Eno (U2 Producer) was brought in for this very reason. | This is the best album cover ever in rock and roll history as far as I'm concerned, the music inside is just gravy. Nothing could top OK Computer, so Radiohead didn't even try - they very wisely went in a completely different direction into almost another genre altogether. OK Computer is basically a straight up rock record but Kid A is pretty much electronic music. The first song, "Everything in it's Right Place" is one of the best in Radiohead's live set - it sounds much better live is what I'm trying to say ... Read More: |

| Is there any question that pretty much any album Butch Vig got his hands on in the early 90's was a major success? I used to attribute the success of this album, along with others, to the bands that played the music. But really, it would seem it was Butch Vig's involvement that really produced the popular sound of early 90's alternative rock. | With the cure framework beautifully in place this stripped-down, elegantly executed album is the best in many years from this band. Their previous couple of albums had Robert Smith in top artistic form but the density washed out the execution to some extent. Bloodflowers was great but the beauty of a Cure song has always been in its simplicity and top to bottom every song on 4:13 is pure pop goth beautiful.

| One great song after another. This was the first album I heard for radiohead, so I went and bought all the other albums expecting them to be the same style as this one, I was disappointed.
