| When this band came along, with their first big hit, WALKIN' ON THE SUN, I immediately noticed their being highly influenced by that 1960's band, ?(Question Mark) & The Mysterians of "96 TEARS" fame, circa 1966. The lead singer of SMASHMOUTH sounds eerily like the lead singer of that blast from the past band. | This CD is amazing! It is so high energy and fun! This is No Doubt at it's finest and it's most fun! The songs on this CD make me get up and jump around like nothing else. I would recommend this CD at anyone looking for something amazing, fun, and full of attitude.

| It's certainly inventive. It sounds like a combination of Asian/Scifi/Dance, sometimes all in one song. Which results in some good songs and some that's just noise. I've never seen the production that this is based, though I'd like to. I did grow up knowing about the story of the Journey to the West and also like Gorillaz so I was really interested in hearing this. It takes some time for it to grow on to you and the more I listen to it the more I like it.
