| If you have any music training or musical ability, do NOT buy this CD! The woman on the tape has a very harsh, annoying voice...almost like a washed up lounge singer who needed to make a quick buck by singing on a kids' CD. The children on this CD are AWFUl...completely out of tune...I don't expect perfection, but it is possible for children to sing on pitch! | A close friend bought us this CD when I got pregnant.
I played it on a loop for my daughter for the earliest months when she slept and now play it when I'm trying to wind her down at nap time. It's really soothing and calming. If i'm tired when i put it on my eye lids begin to weigh a pound each. My one complaint is one song, I think it's by take 6, that all the sudden gets very loud. | Having read many of the critical reviews of this album, all I can say is...please, please drop the snobbish attitude toward children's need hear other children sing. I've been a music teacher using music curricula for some years now in the public schools and know that those K-3 (and older if they're not jaded and addicted to rap & hip-hop) will love many songs in this collection. | This music is very catchy and it has been appealing to both my children and the preschool children I teach. It is especially popular among children going through a "train" stage. |

| I have been listening to the lullaby CD with my 8 month old baby for several month now. The songs are very relaxing and I don't mind when I end up singing them in my head when I am at work. |

| My 4 year old son listens to this CD everynight before going to bed. He has memorized all the songs, including the ones in Zulu. It got him interested in the world map, in Africa, and in various animals like cheetahs and lions. He took note of the boy who turned into a 5-legged cat for picking on and laughing at other people.

| I loved this C.D. it has all the songs that my Mom and I listened too, my kids didn't like it so much, they only like 1-2 songs on the whole disk, I guess I am starting to get out dated with the new generation, my children are only 4 and almost 6 and I thought they would love all the catchy music, but not so. |

| I purchased the CD for the title song "I Got Shoes". The other songs on the CD attracted my twin granddaughters. They enjoyed the counting songs in other languages and asked to hear it over and over. This was definitely a plus. If you are a fan of Sweet Honey in the Rock - you will love this CD.
