| I was not expecting a Lucinda Williams disk so soon after 'West' was released. I didn't even know 'Little Honey' was coming until I stumbled across a review in a Sunday paper a few days prior to its release date.

| I had never heard of Ray LaMontagne before Amazon's recommendation engine pointed out to me that people frequently bought Martin Sexton's "Solo" along with "Gossip in the Grain." I'm a huge fan of Martin Sexton since about a year ago, and looking for more amazing folk/rock music to experience.

| I have to tell you the first time I listened to this CD, it was like angels were singing. It brought tears to my eyes. I've always loved O Holy Night and theirs is a beautiful rendition of it. There are tracks that I find myself skipping over at times but all in all it's a gorgeous Christmas CD. |

| I have listened to Joan Baez songs since I was in grammar school and I am just as much in awe of her voice now as I was then (the sixties). Persoanlly I appreciate the more religious tones of the CD. After the recent political roller coaster that we have been on it is nice to be able to sit down, listen to music that actually talks to our thoughts, and relax our spirits. | I bought this as a replacement to my original. I was so disappointed that after the 3rd time trying to get used to it I threw it into the back seat.
Don't get me wrong, I really like his music. But I'm really stuck on the original versions and I believe I'm getting ripped off when what's on the disk isn't what I expected. They should have put on the cover that the songs were all remakes or refected tracks or whatever. |

| This is a solid Rod Stewart collection but not "definitive." After all, it's missing some of Rod's best songs (not to mention biggest hits) including "Broken Arrow" "All for Love," "Having a Party," "(I know) I'm losing you," and many others. Part of the problem is that Rod has had a lot of hits, but still if you're going to say "definitive" you should have ALL the big hits, not just most of them. |
