| If you're a fan of hip-hop you can't sleep on Ruff Ryders' mark on the game and the greatness of this album, it dropped in 1999 and still sounds timeless today, this is when DMX, Eve, Drag-On, and The Lox were at there best, I'm sure most hip-hop heads own this album already but if you don't have it you should check it out 'cause it's better than most crap out these days people consider hot. |

| This is a timeless classic funk with a mix of different artists For those to young to remember this is what current rap music evolved from. there are so many remakes in most music genres that most people don't know what originals sounded like. this is a great sampling R&B funk hits of the late 70's early 80's. |

| Why oh why did the old Rapmasters series I used to rock in high school go out of print? Now that was classic old school hip hop compiled by people who lived through the era and knew from what they chose! This series is a mediocre substitute at best.

| This is an album that gets a few spins on the regular but there is too many tracks I don't even bother listening to. Some are either just bad or I don't care for the artist. The opening track by Spice 1 N*gga gots no Heart is one of the best on here. The best track is MC Eiht's Straight up menace. This track was perfect for the soundtrack. | When the first Ruff Ryders came out I could say I was bumpin it back to back but this one showed that they should have stopped while they were still ahead. What kills this one? 1. Swizz Beatz producing every track. 2. Weak guest appearances 3. Asinine skits(i.e Im a H O E and F@@@ Da Haters).
