| James is my hero. Seen him live two dozen times, have every recording on vinyl and CD, even have all his old songbooks, and play his music nearly every week. However, this is not his best effort. Many selections sound the same and I have been left wondering why in the world would you pick a number of these selections. Many of the tunes are second rate songs, and I felt many times like I was waiting in the dentist office. Sorry James. I love you and your music, but this one didn't do it for me. |

| I have to admit, after "Load" I never thought I would pay good money for a Metallica album. They've shed the annoying pop rock elements of the last 12 years and come up with a nice mix of thrash and hard rockin' metal. I only wish this had followed The Black Album. I really like the fact that Metallica is back to realizing their full potential instead of "doing what's cool."
Standout track: Suicide and Redemption. 9 minutes plus of instrumental bliss. As for the title of this review, ... Read More: |

| Every cut on this album is excellent! The Randy Travis selection "I don't see me in your eyes anymore" blows me away followed by Big and Rich doing the Beastie Boys tune "You've Got to Fight for your right to Party", it just doesn't get any better than this! Don Imus really knows how to put together a fantastic group of talent and songs, thanks I Man. |

| I was wondering why it doesn't have lyrics with the CD... Maybe that's the reason for selling cds for a price a litte bit lower than in the other stores.
I like the songs... It's not as good as X&Y but is a great album. I do recommend it, but be aware that it doesn't have any lyrics as a "bonus". |

| I have been a fan since the 70's. Always respected his " views " of the world and what's going on, but enough is enough. Get over yourself man. As usual the musicianship is fine enough, however there's not too much to lighten the mood on this cd. I expect social commentary from JB but I feel like I just donated to far left. I want my money back. |

| A lot of alternative music fans bitch and complain about their favorite bands "changing" and their "old stuff being better." These statements have become cultural cliches and hard to take seriously especially when the person criticizing is wrong. As another reviewer said, just because the album isn't exactly what you want to hear doesn't make it a bad album. | What I love about Robin is that he doesn't give you the same old same old that you hear with everybody else! He steps out of the box.. the music is different with every song he even changes the way in which he sings the songs in the next track! A lot of artist don't do that! With some albums every song and the music sounds the same especially when their produced by the same person you can totally tell! | Probably this CD got labeled with the Parental advisory sticker is because of the songs so Hott & sugar where the music may be a little bit rough for some people. All though there are some language in tracks 11 & the title song. However, don't let some of the language and sexual content discourage you from buying this CD.
