| I expected more from this album. While there are some amazing tracks (Halfway Home and Golden Age especially), the album generally seems to lack risk and inventiveness and the heavy production rounds most of corners and makes the music feel too empty. There is little room for excitement or surprise here. People talk about "the album as an experience" and I must say there is a lack of one here. | The tips on this DVD do work! With a new baby, I don't have time to read the book, so I was happy when my friend told me about this DVD. My baby doesn't have colic, but she does get fussy, like most babies do and she is our first. We already had a series of things to do when fussy time hits, but now we have 5 more tricks. Anything helps when you are trying to make your little angel happy! |

| Every year new Christmas albums come out. Many country stars have released new CD's in the past few years.
Faith Hill has a new one this year. Faith has recorded traditional Christmas music, but there is nothing that makes this special. | As others have stated, this is not Mitch's best, but we're lucky to have it at all. It's weird hearing his delivery more aggressive and not as well-timed, but one can later imagine the new jokes told in his laid-back, oddly syncopated style. I'd say this is only for Mitch fanatics, but that's the only kind of fan he has: Either he's in your top five comedians of all time or you don't get him or haven't heard of him. |

| Why I used a baseball analogy for the title is beyond me. I hate baseball! Enough of that. Calexico is from my hometown, Tucson. Why they are not bigger is beyond me. Joey Burns and John Convertino, and the revolving cast of characters around them, are local legends (Giand Sand) who CD after CD create some of the most awesome music around. | I do believe that this product is well worth the money it costs. I only purchased it to use the test patterns. To figure out how to use them, you have to go through rather long and boring sections of the video. They should probably sell a disk with just the test patterns and a pamphlet on how to use them. I would have paid more to not go through the other stuff on the disk. |

| In my eyes and ears,Melissa Etheridge always grows artistically and musically. She rocks out,even with her spin on traditional holiday songs.They sound fresh and full of life.This cd is a great addition to her music and to many Christmases to come. Each song I love alot. You can play it over and over again.Peace is the answer.Sometimes it happens more so at Christmas.Let it happen through out the year. Thank you Melissa for putting out a great CD. |

| As I grew up, my siblings and I would eagerly anticipate Thanksgiving, knowing that on the way home from my grandparent's house, my dad would finally let us listen to Christmas music. | Despite the inclusion of accomplished musicians, the approach to the singing is affected and disconnected. To my ears, it's all self-conscious performance and fake emotion. Why take on Porter if you're not going to deliver the lyric with real, distilled feeling? This music speaks for itself. It doesn't need any attempt at drama, no matter how laid back. Kind of a Jane Monheit-type delivery. All hype, no gut. |
