| This the real deal when it comes to Country music, not that watered down pop music that passes for country these days. Not only is this the real deal, but it's actually really good stuff. | Do you like the other Big Phat Band CDs? Do you like big band? Then what's not to like about this one!
This CD if very true to Gordon Goodwin's style. He's such a great writer and musician, I have no doubt that he will go down in history as one of the greats Absolutely buy this now! It says 10.99 on amazon, and that's a small price to pay for so many listens. Buyyyyyyyy :) |

| I have all the Fourplay albums from the first in 1991. I do like this latest offering, but as I also have numerous Bob James albums from the 70's, the cynic in me says that Bob has popped along to his study, turned on his PC on and dialled up a few "recipes". Cooked on regulo 5 for 30 mins and..... Job Done!
Track 5 is a Bob James classic, but if you jumbled all the tracks together that sound similar, you could call it "Theangelanautilusjoyridemoodstarwestchesterurbanflamingraisetheroofyesclub". Mind ... Read More: |

| Michael Feinstein has taken some wonderful old standards originally recorded by Frank Sinatra, and a couple that were written for him but not recorded, and rendered them memorably. His enunciation and phrasing are outstanding, he has a gentle voice, tender in the romantic songs, strong where it needs to be, but melodic. He does not belt out his songs. What a relief. This is truly enjoyable listening, and may he do more of it in this style. |
