| I get chills when Downs re-interprets classic Mexican styles. Her voice is a wonder and I'll still be on board for her next disc. A lot of the songs here are inspired by something other than old Mother Mexico. that's fine and she shouldn't be put in a box but I'm not as interested in her take on New Orleans or rock music. Maybe you'll like it more than I did.

| This CD is like a drug for me - 3 years later I can not stop listening it. The more I listed to it the more I like it. I shared it with a friend who is now hooked on Manu Chao - "His songs make me feel good". |

| I had heard "Limon y Sal", the song, a long time ago and loved it. When I first listened to the CD I was surprised to hear 3 other songs I recognized from the radio. I know very little Spanish, but with the lyrics included, I can sing along. It's fun to listen to with catchy tunes! |

| Quite a good album, traditional to Manu Chao music, with a slight escape into mainstream.
Some songs seem like reworks or versions of the same song done in different ways. Good for listening while riding in a car. It is certainly worth listening to, but if you are not a real Manu Chao dedicated fan you might find it slighlty repetitive. | I have liked Mana for years, but never really got into them as much as I have recently. I started downloading entire albums recently (rather than piecemeal via p2p) and this one does not disappoint. It contains one of my favorites, "Labios Compartidos", as well as several other awesome songs in true Mana fashion. While this is not my favorite album (that would be Cuando Los Angeles Lloran), it is great nonetheless and a must for any Mana fan. | I have bought this CD along with 'undia normal' after listening Juanes on PBS's Austin City Limits. I love two songs from this album especially: la camisa negra and damelo. There are few other great tracks as well, but overal I enjoyed more the'undia normal' CD. You can buy the tracks you like separately, but I wanted to have the CDs in my collection. This album, as a whole could be better, but I don't regret getting it as these CDs make a great beach or party companion. |

| Good CD, but even better is the Ritchie Valens Story. It has Bob Keane doing wonderful naration of Ritchie's recording history and life. As far as "Bluebirds Over the Mountain," that is not the song that comes over the radio when you learn of Ritchie's death in the movie La Bamba. The song interrupted by the radio bulletin is "Over the Mountain and Across the Sea" performed by Johnnie and Joe. |
