This is such a wonderful CD! I have been listening to it every morning as I work and her beautiful voice eases me into the swing of things! My favorite track is "By Thy Grace" where she merges Country, Sacred, Acoustic, Gospel, and Chanting into a rich flowing musical prayer! Viva! |

| I have been grateful for the work of Krishna Das for some time now. I have all of his CDs, and appreciate them all.
That said, this CD feels particularly special to me. It is rich with feeling and spirit - richer than usual. Within a few seconds of hearing the samples of this offering, I rushed to buy it. | You will become addicted to this soundtrack. It actually surpasses the movie in that respect (although the movie is great too). I'm ready to start searching the cable channels or Netflix looking for these old Satyajit Ray movies. |

| When I get older, losing my hair, many years from now, I will understand and appreciate this recording.
Since I am young, opinionated, closed minded and longing for yesterday's thrill, I do not appreciate this recording. Whoops, I forgot I am 59 years old and I do appreciate this subtle and complex union of cultures. |
