| I am very much in love with this dvd. This is much better than The Silent Force tour dvd, which was still great of course. While there are 3 extras, I still feel the need for more bonus features, like music videos perhaps. Also, I noticed the video quality somewhat lacked in the quick flash moments but I sat very close to the screen so normally I doubt it is noticeable. Overall, Black Symphony is not to be missed! |

| I bought this album with much enthusiasm, and yet I found nothing but pop-friendly rock songs reminiscent of Evanescence.
Now don't get me wrong, Evanescence is a great band, and this is a good album, but what happened to the old Within Temptation? Their first album was their best one in my opinion. Even though it saddened me to see them take a new direction in their next albums, at least it was still unique. In contrast, this album sounds like Celine Dion with guitars in the background. It ... | This album is epic and powerful, but at the same time hauntingly beautiful. Most songs begin with a peaceful prelude that elegantly fades into a wall of sound. Just when you think you might not be able to stand the force of it, you hear this mesmerizing voice that is both ethereal and intense. The more you listen, the more you begin to pick up the subtle fusion of music and voice. This is truly an epic and magnificent album. |

| This CD is full of songs that hit your soul. They have so much meaning to them that it goes beyond the lyrics of their songs. |

| I can't say anything bad about this music as it is intense, the vocals are beautiful and I find myself hypnotized by this music. Great music everytime! |

| After just a first listen (which isn't really enough for forming a strong opinion) I will say that this album is excellent; just what I was expecting, based on other reviews and on the fact that I own (and love) _The Heart of Everything_. I'll update this portion of my review at a later date.

| I enjoyed both CD's greatly. I had never heard of them before but when my friend played one of their songs, Forsaked, I loved it. I went out and bought the only album I could find of theirs, Heart of Everything. Loved it too, but had to buy these two albums too. It was a great bargin to get both for a low price. I listen to them all the time. I can't wait for their next album. I love their intensity on their songs. Sharon has a beautiful voice. | This cd was not as good as the Silent Force CD but lets face what cd is? That was just an exceptional cd. Still do I love most of the songs on the heart of everything disc. The crossing is one of my favorites because of its unusual style. |
