| When I first picked up the soundtrack, I was epecting the music score to be on here. Oh well, that happens with movies, the score either gets thrown our or it's own separate track.
Anywhos, besides that the music is as expected. I feel like we've raided Meyer's personal playlist for the books. (Muse is in here as well as Linkin Park which were two of her biggest inspriations according to her web site.) | I've heard the promos for this recording for months on the IMUS radio program. I bought it for a few of the artists and because I am a big believer in the IMUS RANCH. Today was my first real chance to listen and I was so impressed with the song selection and the excellence of the performers. Little Richard's song blew me away! | I love every edition of the now series because, shucks, I just loves me some pop music. I love the songwriting by other people, the beats instead of people playing instruments and the fact that every song out now has to feature someone else. Originality? Who needs it, these tracks are just straight money. This compilation features several of my personal faves. I'll break a couple of them down:

| I have never been more pleased with a CD purchase in my life. At first I was worried that it might not have some of the songs that were sung by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, but I was pleased to find out that it contains the entire song not just the clips that were played in the movie. Although the music isn't mixed the same way that it is in the film all of the songs are there. I tried to multitask while listening to it and found myself sucked right into the music again. | Bought this album a few days ago mainly for the reason I'm a huge fan of Jack Johnson and everyone on his label, but also for the reason i love Christmas music. I would say that this is a great buy for anyone who loves the relaxed sound of Jack Johnson. It nice to hear some of your favorite artist sing songs that you've heard your life and for me this will just add to the wonderful collection of Christmas music i already have. | This is all the definition of "real music"! Real music is the stuff they air on MTV, which is why this CD rules so much. Not one bad song on it! One of the best CDs I've ever heard. |

| If you have any music training or musical ability, do NOT buy this CD! The woman on the tape has a very harsh, annoying voice...almost like a washed up lounge singer who needed to make a quick buck by singing on a kids' CD. The children on this CD are AWFUl...completely out of tune...I don't expect perfection, but it is possible for children to sing on pitch! | Bought this CD as USED but it looks and sounds as good as new. This music is haunting, beautiful, or charming...depending on the specific tune. This is really pre-country / bluegrass classical folk stuff. You will either understand its origins and love it, or think it is stupid. |
