| Okay, you already own the "Sea Change" CD. You love it and now you want to know if you should invest in the DVD Audio version. The answer to that question is a loud and resounding "YES!" | HANDEL HAS NEVER BEEN MY FAVORITE COMPOSER. I PARTICULARLY HATE THAT MUSICAL MONUMENT TO IMPERIAL ENGLAND CALLED THE MESSIAH. I BOUGHT THIS RECORDING BECAUSE I AM A LOYAL FAN OF SILLS, TREIGLE AND WOLFF, WHOM I SAW MANY TIMES DURING THE GREAT DAYS OF NEW YORK CITY OPERA. I ALSO SAW A PRODUCTION OF THIS OPERA AT THE MET THAT WAS FAR, FAR MORE EXCITING THAN THIS RECORDING, WHICH IS EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW. THE SINGING IS SUPERB, BUT I DO PREFER A COUNTERTENOR IN THE ROLE OF SEXTUS. |

| This album came out at the same time I was just learning to play electric guitar. Beck's playing was everything I wanted mine to be. Dynamic, melodic, thoughtful, smoking! This still is up there in my list of all time favorite albums that I never seem to grow tired of. I wish they would reissue this one in SACD format like Blow by Blow. |

| Astonishing. Loved Jeff Beck early on but somehow lost track of him over the years. Was lucky enough to see this incredible band up close in '06 and could not believe what was happening. This cd captures the essence, Vinnie Colaiuta is in a different setting that fits him perfectly, what a treat!

| This album is the first in his "trilogy" of techno/electronica output beginning in the late 1990's. And the best of the 3.('You Had It Coming', 'Jeff' are the others). It may catch you off guard at first because of the new approach. But this is pure and simple guitar genius. Like another poster commented, you either get it or you don't. | Three Great Albums... Jeff Beck at the height of his artistic journey. Let's not overlook all of the other gifted musicians on these discs. The guitar gods sometimes get all the credit. If you are just getting into Jeff Beck and his bands, this would be the best and most economical way to "Get There"... Check out "Rough & Ready" if you can get the CD somewhat economically. Many fans forget about that one. One last thought... these cats can still ROCK!!! Love to see you live again. |

Sea Change brings all this to the front with perhaps one of the best breakup albums ever written, and I say this owning albums going back 40 years and over 8,000 songs in my iTunes library. Sea Change never feels old, never feels dated, and is a brilliant late night album to put on and just ponder. I'd give it six stars if I could, it's that good. |
