| Jeff Beck's Truth (1968) is a critically acclaimed and influential piece of work that features some great performances and historically rocks the blues. There are some great moments on this album, that's for sure.

| great CD, many of the songs here take awhile to grown on you like Soldier Jane (not my fav at first) but this is the genius of beck, that guys is such a chameleon.The DVD that came with it now, its uh..not anything great but its amusing to say the least, the guys went to thrift /costume store and made a bunch of crazy homemade videos that are just "out there".
Love the music tho! |

| Blow by Blow - The CD is what I remember from the past, which is what I was wanting.
After listening to the CD, I realized that I used to LOVE the LIVE version of some of these tunes... and so, I bought the Jeff Beck/Jan Hammer LIVE CD. Blow by Blow is a studio recording which I find a little "dry" when compared to the energy of the LIVE CD... But it's still Jeff Beck! |

| Mutations is an odd recording with a strange fellow, i.e., Beck. Bech Hansen is a one of a kind artist and I am not sure what category of music he does play. Since I can not make up my mind I put him in the experimental category. I love the book-let. It is quirky, odd and just like his music it does not make much sense. His lyrics are hard to grasp and he seems to happy to sing in riddles. I love how he made the decision to include the instruments and lyrics. | This is an excellent CD. The music is stirring and mysterious. A blend of classical, rock and folk music. Having watched the Angel tv series, I recognize most of the music and it can bring images of the show to me whenever I choose. I would recommend this CD to anyone who who loved the series. |

| I think this is Jeff Beck's finest recording. A notch better than its predecessor and a more comfortable fit than many of the other formats this experimental guitar hero has tried, Wired seems to fit his frantic guitar runs, his sonic bends, his unique phrasing, and his sweet-hot tone like a glove. It is doubtless due in part to the instrumental nature that this album stands above the rest. Beck doesn't have to battle a vocalist; he simply steps into the spotlight and wails.
