never received another issue. I contacted customer service about the problem, used the problem report forms(or whatever it's called) and NEVER heard from them again. I get this email today telling me to renew my subscription... (after I had almost forgotten about the whole incident) What nerve!!! | A friend of mine told me about this magazine about three years ago and I've been an subscriber ever since. I've even bought subscriptions for others a few times as gifts. This magazine has great content and articles by taking an very thought-provoking and "real" approach to a number of cultural and spiritual issues. I would highly recommend this to the 20-35 age group, either Christians or just anyone interested in a Christian perspective to cultural issues. One of my favorite things about this mag other ... | Angels on Earth magazine was mentioned in a blog I stumbled upon about a year ago. On a whim, I decided to subscribe. It was money well-spent.
This little magazine is filled with short articles and some surprisingly beautiful illustrations to give you that little shot of inspiration to carry you through another day of life. | I have now ordered this magazine for several friends who are either new to the Catholic Church or who are anxious to learn more about it. It is an excellent resource and is full of articles -- many in Q and A format -- which deal with many interesting faith issues and present full and understandable answers. I, myself, have a fairly good background in the Faith and I find it quite interesting also. Good, solid explanations and interestingly presented. |

| America magazine is a Jesuit magazine with a liberal Catholic bent. The editors will often give heterodox dissenters room to disseminate their views. If that's your cup of tea, fine, but you have no reason to be a member of the Catholic Church if you can't follow the pope and bishops. Instead, look to the Episcopal church. I do not recommend this publication. |
