| I've been subscribing to SciAm Mind for about a year now and have been reading it at the bookstore for a couple of years. I'm a layperson, no medical training or professional background in dealing with these topics, I just have a personal interest.

| C&D was once entertaining, witty, objective and a great read. The staff worked well together and they put out a consistently good magazine. Then it went through some rough years where it got kind of tame and boring. Now, it's an ill fitting mix of new and old writers trying to be fresh and hip while being spoon fed by the car manufactures. The magazine lacks consistency, focus and any sort of clear vision as to what they're about.

| I have been a female reader of Men's Journal for 10 years. The articles are always very good, open and fair, and of excellent journalistic quality. They have product reviews, health questions, sports information, etc. The magazine is well balanced and only has a few 'men only' related articles. It is also very cheap as far as magazines go and this was a gift subscription for someone. Everyone I have ever gifted it to has liked it. |

| I bought this for dirt cheap, maybe $5-8 for the year. My daughter loves getting this each month and often asks if her current issue's arrived yet. I didn't give the full amount of stars because I'm not crazy about some of the articles and I don't like the ads selling to my child. That aside, there are some useful and entertaining things in there, too. I bought it for a 14 year old though now that I've looked at it I think it may be more appropriate for around 16. |

| I ordered this for my 16 year old daughter, assuming she would love it since she likes all the teen magazines (Seventeen, CosmoGirl, M, etc.). She hates it. Glanced through the first couple of issues, but now tosses it directly in the trash. I'm glad I bought it when there was a promotion that paid me to take it ($7 for the magazine, $10 toward a future purchase for buying it), because it would have been a complete waste of money. |
