| I love this magazine, even the ads. I use it as a reference for ideas for decorating my house. You must look at everything in the pictures and dissect it. Then you can think of ways of recreating the look for less, maybe even crafting. I always send them to my Mom after I'm done with my issues and she loves them, but we like house decorating and if you don't then you won't like this magazine. |

| I love my cooking light subscription. I got hooked a few years ago when I received the annual cookbook for a holiday gift. Since then I've tried tons of the recipes - every month has SOMETHING good in the magazine and sometimes every single recipe is amazing. Not only that, but there are really good tips that everyone can benefit from - no matter how little or how long you've been cooking. I've read Outside for several years now, and it's become just another glorified catalog to sell stuff with shallow writing: e.g. best Tequilas in Mexico, etc, etc. I used to enjoy this magazine when it contained incisive writing from John Krakauer and others, and it was about the outdoors. | The first subscription was shipped on June. Didnt really have much problems with it but reading some of the articles, I didnt find anything that pertained to my interests.
For this months, I found more interesting topics they were talking about regards to our environment and some DIY projects. I wish they emphasized a bit more on that. Overall, it was ok. |

| Let me start off with I subscribe to at least 15 magazines covering a range of subjects. Mental Floss is the only magazine that I save and leave out for guests. The reason I save it is that is a very quick read that can be read while people have a few moments to spare. The articles are short and don't provide much depth.
