| I have subscribed to Elle for nearly 20 years and I have seen it change in recent years into more of a In Style type mag. There is increasing focus on celebrities, with one on every cover. I find this annoying--if I wanted to see Britney Spears or Posh Spice I would buy the Enquirer or People. I wish Elle would go back to featuring relatively unknown models instead of actresses. | Great magazine for teens! It's got a lot of good advise on what make-up to buy. Also, it has great healthy recipes, easy for teens to make. My daughter made a great veggie wrap. It was delicious. |

| I will be brief. I received this as a gift and am not a hobby or any other type of gourmet cook. However, I am impressed. It is well put together- great articles, supported by high quality photography and recipes that so surprisingly, are not intimidating. My college age daughter, now ever so sensitive to good quality food versus poor quality food was drawn to the magazine. I have ordered her a subscription for Christmas. Don't tell. :) |

| As an avid collector of cookbooks and recipes, I'm used to sifting through a multitude of recipes I'll never make in order to find the perfect one that is sure to be a hit. So far, after 4 or 5 issues, I've only found maybe a half dozen recipes that I might actually try. I'm not a picky eater and I enjoy lots of different kinds of food. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to devote to cooking extravagant meals on a day to day basis and I'm not big on hosting parties. Basically, I'm no Martha Stewart. Not worth my effort and I won't be renewing. |
