| I have to disagree with the previous reviewer.
Although there are fewer instructional articles than I would like, I feel the magazine provides good information on the make-up industry and is well-balanced between beauty and prosthetic applications. The primary focus appears to be the movie industry, although print and fashion are covered as well. And yes, the make-up conventions and trade shows are heavily advertised. | Just like kecksburg65, I ordered a subscription back in Dec 03 and 3 months later have received nothing but grief. I submitted a customer service request weeks ago, and got no response. When I got them on the phone, they told me they now expect that nothing will be delivered until at least 6 months after the order date. | I ordered this subscription on February 26, 2007. It is now July 5, 2007 and I have not received an issue.
Two fashion seasons have passed - and I am out of $225.00. This order is placed through a third party called "Magazine Express" - NOT Amazon. So, the customer service is disastrous. You would be better off buying this from your local bookstore (i.e the shelves of Barnes & Noble) |

| I'm a big fashion magazine fan - having subscribed to magazines like InStyle, Lucky, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and Elle in the past several years.
People Stylewatch - in addition to Instyle - is one of my favorites. It's a rather thin magazine, but what you get is lots of good, useful content that is similar to InStyle (minus the gobs of advertisements). | This magazine is centered around contests and pageants. It has NOTHING to do with supermodels. I'm glad I didn't subscribe to this publication. If you notice below all the positive reviews for it were all left on the same day and the persons writing is very similar review after review. The reviewer probably works for the magazine. |

| I subscibed to this magazine for a year and I enjoyed it a lot. I have some difficulty reading and understanding the articles but needed to learn. I didn't keep the subscription though because it went higher. I reccommend if you can afford the import premiums. |
