| If you're a political junkie, probably more left leaning, then the weekly edition of Washington Post hits the spot. This edition includes indepth reports, articles, and their opinion columns for the past 7-10 days of each issue. After living in Washington, D.C. for four years, I got spoiled with the every day and behind the scenes reporting conducted by the Washington Post. I subscribe to Paris Match through Amazon.com because it's a fast and reliable way to do it. The subscription is expensive, but I find it's worth it. It helps me keep my French current, something reading books and academic material does not do. It also gives me another viewpoint on world events. Some of the stories are extraordinary, even though lots of the material is on a par with "People" magazine.. but that can be fun, too. |

| We cancelled the Charlotte Observer to get this low on substance and old news. I'm a native Brit and thought I would be getting something akin to the British version of the Guardian
This is really poor and a regrettable purchase by me. Please don't take into account the rave reviews here these people must not now about the news online..... Ah well 52 weeks and I'll be unsubbed..... David |

| For those of us who miss being in the center of the universe, reading the Observer is almost like being there. In its pink pages I can read stories about New York's political, arts, society, finance, sex and gossip scene. I can smell the inside of a taxi from my house overlooking the lake in Vermont. |

| Though the magazine is owned by Rogers corp. which I hate very much, the magazine is great. It was once a lesser known and hard leftie magazine. These days it is among the finest in the world. Mark Steyn shines among their columnist. Andrew Coyne is now a well known author for his great works. The interviews in the magazine are informative and bright. All in all, this is one magazine I am proud to be subscribed to. IMO, it ranks among the finest magazine in North America. Better than Newsweek magazine, if you will, and ... Read More: |
