| This subscription is my introduction to Smithsonian and it comes two months after I ordered it. I'd actually forgotten about ordering it!
For 12 issues of thought provoking articles at essentially $1 per issue, I think it's a good buy. The articles are well written and not something I'd just look up on Wikipedia. It shows what's going on at the forefront of science breakthroughs and what they could mean in the marketplace when completed.It offers a periscope view of these topics written by the people doing the research, in as clear and communicative a way as can be. Every issue boggles the mind, is actually an understatement. |

| I've been subscribing to SciAm Mind for about a year now and have been reading it at the bookstore for a couple of years. I'm a layperson, no medical training or professional background in dealing with these topics, I just have a personal interest.
