| I gave this magazine as a gift, and also received a subscription as a gift. I can't tell...is it the packaging? The ho-hum articles? I don't know. I had such high hopes for a great-quality magazine that would increase my environmental awareness and encourage me in my small attempt to live green. Alas, I've been disappointed and I won't renew. |

| I agree with the previous reviewer that National Wildlife is often pessimistic. Sadly, I "get it for the pictures," so-to-speak. The photos are truly beautiful, and they have a yearly contest and issue with photo winners.
In most of the articles, however, it seems the writers are trying to convince everyone that humans are ruining the planet. | I am a relatively new owner of an antique John Deere tractor, but not new to restorations of antique cars. I was looking for a magazine with lots of restoration tips, lots of dealers for "those hard to find parts" and lots of photos of old tractors, farm machines, etc. This magazine seems to have all these qualities to some degree at least. It just needs more of everything to make it a 5 star rating for me. |
