| I have found American Patchwork and Quilting to be among the best in quilting magazines. I love every issue. The articles are informative and the patterns are simply wonderful. Not every issue will please every reader, but this one comes close. |

| This is a great magazine because it offers a great number of patterns in each issue and it has a nice balance of background information and interesting articles. Each pattern and technique offered in this magazine is complete with concise directions, often including pictures and diagrams. This magazine is well worth buying and even subscribing to. |

| I learned how to quilt from scratch in 2000. At that time, there were few night classes offered in my area for working people, but this magazine helped me learn how to quilt anyway. I appreciate how they rate each project (easy, intermediate, advanced) and show a second colorway to consider. Sometimes they also show an alternate setting (like making a 1 ft wall hanging from a larger quilt.) | A lot of the reviewers here have mentioned problems with one cover story. Don't let that put you off this mag. It and its sister mag MAKE are great. They show a different look at the craft industry than you get when you look in chains like Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Craft and diy are huge and it's not all about scrapbooking and decorative painting. | I am new to quilting, and am trying to help my church make quilts for charity. Working full time, I thought this might be a great help. Maybe these are quick quilts for those with a lot of experience, but it's not quick for my purposes. It may have also been my mistake by equating "quick" to "easy". |

| I have subscribed to many quilting magazines and have found this one to be among the best. The articles include many interesting topics from historical quilts to trendy techniques, and often lessons from the "pros".
They feature a variety of quilts in every issue to satisfy a wide range of tastes and abilities. The instructions are very clear and well presented and always include the necessary patterns and templates. Customer service has always been very helpful. |

| I am an experienced quilter and am familiar with many of the quilting publications currently on the market. In my opinion this is certainly one of the very best. Beautiful quilts for all skill levels and excellent instructions. Exciting patterns and outstanding use of color. Very inspiring. Sadly, it is hard to find on news stands or in US quilt shops, and the subscription price in the US is very high. But, if you have the money to invest in one really good magazine, this is it. |
