| This was one of the first family magazines I ordered after 2 years of parenting magazines. I love the project ideas in here! I've done quite a few of them, and they all are just as easy as they look! The articles are good as well. I didn't have a problem with delivery times, and can't wait for each issue! I definately recommend that parents with children with 2+ yr children to get it! |

| Ordered Ranger Rick as Christmas 2008 gift. Gift card was delivered but magazines never came. When I inquired, I was told that the order had gone out. It's been a year and no Ranger Rick. Also multiple gift orders for Cricket were never delivered. Don't buy subscriptions here, go to the magazine's own web site. I will never buy here again. |

| We've been subscribing to this and Wild Animal Baby for about a year now. My son is currently 3yrs old, and I have to read this magazine to him. However, he loves it!
The pictures are very detailed and many are close-ups, so it gives my son the opportunity to see familiar zoo animals from a different perspective. | A 50-page children's magazine literally half ads. And the articles are either about a movie or can be understood by parents to help relieve some of the blatancy of the magazine's real purpose. In the issue we just got it was Nintendo DS on the pedestal. If you get sidetracked thinking about mountain lions or something, a nice summary near the end of the magazine reminds young readers unabashedly of all the, I quote, "must-haves of the season."

| This magazine is great! As for the advertisements, I don't notice anything more than other magazines. Although, some of the articles are one page, and could be confused with ads. I love the articles and the great craft ideas. My son loves to look at the photos as well. We always sit down and read it together. And it's got info in there for all ages ranges of children! |

| This magazine really is perfect. It features real everyday girls, showing that girls really can do anything. Many people say that it isn't appropriate for an 8 or 9 year old, and not all of it is. But, there are several parts that really would be nice for those younger girls. If you were a parent of a younger girl who was interested in DG (Discovery Girls) I would suggest briefly looking through it before you would give it to her. | Fantastic magazine. But buy it directly from the publisher. The subscription price is exactly what amazon is offering, anyway, and you'll get it a lot faster. We also bought two sets of a year's worth from eBay. |

| I saw an issue of this magazine at the Louisville Science Museum yesterday when Isaiah, who is six, and I spent a rainy day exploring science and inventions. I don't remember what topic the issue covered, but the magazine's focus on science interested Isaiah so I thought about getting him a subscription for Christmas. Of course, as soon as I came home, I went immediately to Amazon's site to hear what other parents thought about it. | I was a little disappointed in this magazine. The pictures are nice, but the content seems very random. There are activities aimed at the very young (ie. same and different, color recognition) and then there are some complex concepts that can't hold a toddler's attention (ie. match the letter to the picture that starts with it). It is very short for a bi-monthly, and doesn't offer a lot of stories to read -- usually just one about that month's animal. My daughter does like the tear out animal cards in each issue. |

| My mom got me this mag for a christmas present. I loved the first one that had a whole section of the best kids books. I thought it was a feature but it wasn't. They do have a section that I love that puts new (and some old) music, books, movies, and toys into color schemes for different ages and a review of these products.
