| I did not receive my first issue until August 2, 2008. It was interesting but the pictures are sometimes too small. I did enjoy the articles which were informative.The information on source material was valuable but I hope that the show would have more information on line. I give the magazine a B for a grade. |

| I have subscribed to Doll Reader off & on for over 15 years. It the longest lasting fashion doll magazine devoted to that subject that I know of. There are lots of color pictures of the newest dolls coming out; a new pattern almost every issue for a different doll out of the many fashion dolls available; lots of ads for different doll shops with web addresses, phone numbers, etc.; an couple of interesting Q & A sections on different types of dolls. | I'm a little disappointed I purchased this for my dad for father's day I thought it was a magazine but it's actually a 6 page flyer with 3 holes on the side to put in a binder. I just think it's a little pricey for a flyer but he said he enjoys it and the information is good. |

| I like Dolls magazine and wouldn't want to be without it, but I think that their subscription price is definitely too high for a magazine that is more than half advertising, really. All too many "articles" in the doll hobby trade seem to be vehicles of expanded advertising type information for the vendors. There is not enough about the real history of manufacturers, and the whys and hows of what is going on in the industry. It is as if everything has to be sugar-coated.
