| This subscription is my introduction to Smithsonian and it comes two months after I ordered it. I'd actually forgotten about ordering it!
For 12 issues of thought provoking articles at essentially $1 per issue, I think it's a good buy. The articles are well written and not something I'd just look up on Wikipedia. | This is a great magazine for nostalgia fans. Each magazine has advertisements from the 'good old days' including stories and photos and interesting articles about yesteryear.
I could easily give this magazine five stars but the only thing I wish was that there were more of the advertisements and pictures and a few less stories. Otherwise, this is a great publication. For many, it will bring back great memories. |

| I bought this for my father in-law who loves civil war stuff. He told me to go ahead and renew it for a 2nd year. Since they like to camp and travel, he said he also reads the ads in the mag for places to visit and plans on going to a few. Definately a great gift for someone hard to buy for. |

| I would really like to tell you how wonderful this publication is. However, having placed my order in November 2007 and it now being halfway through February 2008 I still couldn't tell you...that's because I haven't received one single issue! They took my money right away...if only their delivery began as fast. In addition, I sent an email to the publisher over a week ago and they haven't had the courtesy of responding to that yet either.
