| My impression of mainstream American food magazine is that they focus on mostly hearty meals and thick, dense, and rich desserts, which is not what Ij'd like to include in my diet. Delicious magazine is different, it has a lot of refreshing and light dishes. It is more expensive then the other magazines probably because it's being imported and printed in Australia (instead of printed in China like other books nowadays).

They're still our primary source for recipes, and we have yet to find a better magazine. The recipes focus on the freshest garden ingredients of the season (naturally, there are a lot of root vegetable recipes in the winter -- this is Britain, after all).
