| Having been a gamer for many, many, years, I can say that Game Informer is the best magazine out there now, and probably the most comprehensive and well made gamer mag ever.

| I've been reading Electronic Gaming Monthly for several years, and it is truly one of the best gaming mags out there. The writing is phenomenal; the writer's manage to put humor and detailed information into their articles.
Many other magazines have sold out in recent years, giving better reviews to game's whose publishers pay more for advertising and such, but not EGM. If you want a high quality magazine about video gaming and all of its attachments, buy this one. |

| I like Gamepro. I actually miss how they used the silly faces for the ratings. I guess it was "immature", but "F" that! Seriously!
And now, it's half way filled with advertisements, advertisements and more advertisements. Not very appealing when you want information on your favorite games, and you have to skip through an advertisement every two pages, sometimes every other page! | The info on this product says: Availability: The first issue should arrive in 6-10 weeks.
When I hadn't received the magazine in over 8 weeks I spent 15 minutes on the phone snaking my way to a person who could help only to be told their system had crashed moments before I called and they could NOT help me. I'd have to call back later. What they did tell me was it takes 3 MONTHS to process subscriptions when ordered through Amazon. This was a Christmas gift and I'm not happy right now. If you ... | I know the price is high for this magazine, due to it being an import to the U.S., but I have three gaming magazine subscriptions, and this is the one I most look forward to and probably will be the only one I renew. There's a lot of meat to each article, especially the 'behind the scenes of the gaming industry' type of articles. The previews are very often critical of some elements rather than effusive in their praise as is the case of some other magazines.
