| Ordered Ranger Rick as Christmas 2008 gift. Gift card was delivered but magazines never came. When I inquired, I was told that the order had gone out. It's been a year and no Ranger Rick. Also multiple gift orders for Cricket were never delivered. Don't buy subscriptions here, go to the magazine's own web site. I will never buy here again. |

| We've been subscribing to this and Wild Animal Baby for about a year now. My son is currently 3yrs old, and I have to read this magazine to him. However, he loves it!
The pictures are very detailed and many are close-ups, so it gives my son the opportunity to see familiar zoo animals from a different perspective. | My son also has a subscription to Your Big Backyard, and we use both of them as part of his pre-school curriculum.
The style of this magazine is like a board book, although the pages aren't as thick, and sometimes the binding can come loose. I just tape it together, and it's not a problem. Each issue highlights a letter of the alphabet, some form of counting, identifying shapes and colors, as well as all the animals featured. | I have been ordering Zoobooks for several years for my grandson. He loves them. When we go for hikes on our city trails or to the zoo, he is always giving me information that he learned in Zobooks on the animals we see. I am fascinated with all the knowledge he has gained from Zoobooks. |

| I am seven years old. My favorite section is "Ask Jimmy and the Bug". The questions that kids send in are very interesting. "Marvin and Friends" is another good part of the magazine. Most of the time it's very funny. I recommend this magazine very much. |

| I ordered multiple gift subscriptions for Christmas 2008. I also ordered Ranger Rick. None of my amazon subscriptions were ever delivered. This was a very expensive lesson for me and I won't ever order magazine subscriptions from amazon again. Now I go directly to the magazine's own web site to buy. |

| I was really disappointed with this magazine because it is so full of advertisements and blatant "product placement." It seems to promote "pop culture" and related attitudes rather than truly exploring nature and values. Sadly, aside from Boys Quest (which is too young for my son), I haven't found another magazine aimed at the 10-14 year-old boy. For those who have really open-minded, secure boys, or progressive girls, I recommend New Moon Magazine -- it's an outstanding ad-free pub. |

| I have been a fan of Cricket magazines since I first subscribed to Babybug when my daughter was a baby. She is now 3.5 years-old and I currently subscribe to Ladybug and Click. Ladybug takes off from Babybug in that it has stories and poems that are illustrated in full-color and the text is engaging for young and aspiring readers.
