I'm surprised that people have canceled their subscriptions due to the magazine having too much variety. That is what I enjoy most about magazines. When I feel like centering on one subject I read a novel. This magazine in particular rarely has disappointed me. I've been subscribing for two years and have no plans for discontinuing it. There are always interesting, well written articles about people and their experiences - tragedies and triumphs and so on. I like the sections that offer beauty, sex ... Read More:

The articles are short and to the point and varied; you don't need hours to finish an article to get the idea. The magazine is glossy and entertaining posing also some interesting thought provoking questions. Some of it also invites you to reflect on some serious issues. The one thing that turns me off however, is that it features Oprah on every cover. It seems a bit self indulgent ... Read More:

This magazine has a nice look but I found it to be lacking in a whole lot of knowledge that I could use. I am not sure what the soul part represents. There is alot of new age ideas and organic articles but to be honest I am a little disappointed with this magazine.

While traveling in the "Land Downunder" I discovered Australian Women's Weekly, actually a "monthly" publication, at newstands and truly enjoyed the in-depth articles that seemed to go far beyond the beaten paths of personality, home/life skills, or current events coverage of so many mags for the female reader. On our 2006 trip, I encountered a moving piece on 9/11 filtered through the eyes of an Australian journalist working in NYC at the time. In 2007, I was struck by an article on the severity of the multi ... Read More:
