| I've been getting Make since the beginning. I still remember the excitement when I got my first issue and how I poured over its contents, looking for something neat to make. That feeling of anticipation has not abated over time for I just got my new issue and I sprang into action to see what delicious, unique and weird thing I could put together. | Most other Linux magazines out there charge at least $150-$200 per year. Linux Journal is very well priced, and they even have a PDF only version that you can subscribe to.
I still prefer the very up to date and FREE online websites and magazines though. |

| This is a must-read for the webmaster, web host, or web designer. It is chock full of reviews, articles, and tutorials that keep the web-head ahead of the pack.
Each issue has a CD with typically cool stuff...trial or full programs (both PC and MAC), add-ins for Adobe titles, website templates, graphics, fonts, and more. Heck, the software alone is worth the price of the mag. I'm building quite a library of images, fonts, templates, and icons just from the CDs in the issues I've purchased. Read More: |

| Love this magazine. Lots of good, unbiased Windows/Microsoft info. Tons of great content and articles...even some great IT humor!! Definitely worth the subscription. We ordered one for each member of our IT team. Wouldn't order through Amazon though...pain in the [...] trying to gain access to articles on [...]. I'd sign up via their website...you'll get instant access to thousands of articles there. I think they have an offer going on right now for $[...]/year here:

| This used to be my favorite magazine for software development (yes, above Dr Dobbs, ACM, etc., etc.). However, it has be combined with other mags and still is only half the volume it used to be. I will probably let mine lapse this year (8th year?) unless things improve. It is not promising. |
