| How to articles written by woodsman not salesmen. Most magazines tell hunting stories where the hunter was using some guide service which finds the game and setup the Writer to bag his trophy, usually for the free advertising. Then this hunter describes his "tools" that enabled him to take the animal. Amazingly the article is followed by two or three pages of ads selling these very "tools". | We live in Texas, so I thought this magazine would inspire some Texas adventures. While the magazine is great, be prepared to wait a long time to get this after you order. I ordered in mid-April and actually got the first issue in mid-July and that was the August issue. In this day and age of technology, why does it take so long to get a magazine out? It always has, and hopefully it always will. The problem is, many of the articles are repetitive. The best features are the letters, the back page, and the opinion sections. | My husband and I love this magazine. We have gotten it for years, but sadly don't have all the editions, though have most of them. It has funny stories, great sailing information, is full of interesting sailing stuff. If you read one I know you will want to read more. They also have a great TV program. If you can get it on DISH TV or COMCAST try to catch it. If you are a sailor you will love this program too. Great extension of the magazine.
