| This magazine was a christmas gift for my father. He said that it is very in depth and informative to the goings on about beekeeping. He enjoys reading this magazine very much, and it is understandable instead of a lot of scientific journal writing that is difficult to read into.I am very pleased that it is not scientific enough that you need to be a doctor to read it and still gets to the heart of the content. |

| I got the Odyssey as a child, and it helped my interest in Science. So I recently ordered the magazine for my daughter who's on the younger side of the magazine's target audience.
I liked the first issue which covered the human brain. The only thing I wasn't wild about was a photo of a person under going brain surgery. With a rather squeamish daughter, it bothered her a bit. | Although this publication is geared toward the advanced hobbyist or commercial beekeeper, I found it to be very helpful as a beginner. Learning about the beekeeping industry from a more global perspective is important if one is considering expanding from the hobby to earning a living through beekeeping. |

| Most other Linux magazines out there charge at least $150-$200 per year. Linux Journal is very well priced, and they even have a PDF only version that you can subscribe to.
I still prefer the very up to date and FREE online websites and magazines though. |

Most magazines tell hunting stories where the hunter was using some guide service which finds the game and setup the Writer to bag his trophy, usually for the free advertising. Then this hunter describes his "tools" that enabled him to take the animal. Amazingly the article is followed by two or three pages of ads selling these very "tools".
