| Don't take my star rating as commentary on the quality of the Jouranl as it is a simply must read for any finance professional. I rated one star due to the price on Amazon. I was recently singing up for delivery and thought $249 for a year's subscription doesn't appear too bad. Of course when you compare it to a 54 week subscription for both print and online for $99 it is a terrible deal. If purchasing go to WSJ homepage. |

| We cancelled the Charlotte Observer to get this low on substance and old news. I'm a native Brit and thought I would be getting something akin to the British version of the Guardian
This is really poor and a regrettable purchase by me. Please don't take into account the rave reviews here these people must not now about the news online..... Ah well 52 weeks and I'll be unsubbed..... David |

| I picked up the New York Times recently after a 15-year hiatus. I admit it was better than it had been circa 1988; at that time anything any Washington insider said was reported uncritically and the NYT had and has its share of the responsibility of pushing our nation closer to barbarism. But overall, I found the paper nearly as complacent, banal, thoughtless and ignorant as before.
