| I don't see it. My wife keep getting these types of dishes. I don't like it. Its "pretty" but I like funcionality more. These dishes are horrible in the microwave. The food gets luke warm but the plate gets really hot. If you like the way it looks then thats all its good for.
The only thing I can see the attractive appeal about it is that its thin yet strong. |

| Nicely shaped wine glasses that have withstood the dishwasher and a few hard knocks thus far. I thought they were reasonably priced for the quality. |

| Reading the revies I thought for sure I had a winner in this set. We were seeking to replace a set we originally purchased from Target that now has missing pieces. The Henkels set is SO light-weight. It reminds me of something I would purcahse at Wal-Mart for $30. It is definetely not what I expect from the Henkels brand. | My wife and I love these glasses. We have a large selection of Riedel products and these Single Malt glasses are of the same quality. I briefly considered the 'Sommelier' edition of the same glasses and while I'm sure they are fantastic I do not find that the Vinum series is lacking anything.
As long as your buying scotch at $50+/bottle why not drink it out of a nice glass? |

| I purchased this decanter based on the many positive reviews, but now I wish I had paid a little more attention to the negative ones. First the pros:
- It's a very wide decanter, giving a lot of surface area to the wine so that aeration is accomplished very easily. - Very sturdy. You don't get the feeling that it's going to break with the slightest amount of pressure as you do with some other decanters. - It really is a good looking piece - especially at such a low price. | I got one of these for my daughter, who's taking French in High School.
As another reviewer noted, the cheap price ones are ugly. Not really blue at all. Nothing like the official product pix. Also for me, it is not made in France, but in Thailand. If I wanted cheap asian pottery, I can go to any dollar store. I'd be willing to pay 3.99 for this; nothing more. Le Creuset lost a customer for life. Glad I didn't try a $200 pot. | Both of these glasses are now gone. The glass is thinner then eggshells. If you use them then save them for special occasions only because they are more fragile then any other glass I've ever seen.
I replaced them with Libby's. Better price, set of 4 and better glass. |

I just wanted to comment that my purchase was for a brand new Amazon.com Corelle Winter White set of dishes. When I opened the shipping box I couldn't help but notice that the Corelle box had been previously opened and the merchandise had been redistributed in the box.
