| this blender is heavy-duty and powerful and my only complaint is the noise. I have to cover my ears when I use it but it only takes up to 30 seconds to crush 6 ice cubes for my smoothies when my old one left big chunks of ice no matter how long I had it running. I recommend this blender above all others because it's sturdy, strong, and relatively small compared with other blenders in the same power range. buy this one and you will love it! |

| I have had this since May and it has worked wonderfully. Two evenings ago, I put spaghetti sauce in the blender (it was too chunky for my kids). I turned the blender on and the blades rotated once (maybe). Suddenly, there was smoke coming out of the unit. I let it sit for a while to cool off. I tried it again, with only water inside. | It is true that the filter is kind of cheap and that you have to make sure that you use some type of mesh filter when pouring your coffee in to your cup to prevent granules from getting in there. I drink my coffee pretty much right away so I haven't tested it to see how long it will keep the coffee warm. Overall, it works pretty much the same as any other french press...I mostly use it to steep tea. | We got this toaster as a wedding gift from our wedding registry and it's nice looking with lots of options. The only problems are that the toaster slots are a little small and don't fit all types of bread. Also, depending on the size and thickness of the bread the toaster doesn't always toast evenly, leaving some corners untoasted. Overall it's fine but you can find something better. |

| I have usually owned Sharp microwaves and have always been pleased with them. This particular model is good although it falls short of a few options that the other Sharp's that I have owned had. But that's okay as I don't cook with this - I simply use it for reheating food and beverages. It is good for the price I paid. BTW, I ordered it on a Sunday and it came on Monday late afternoon. The shipping time involved was superb! (And I ordered it normal delivery) |

| The toaster came quickly enough and looked great, but only 2 of the 4 slots worked. After contacting Black and Decker and following their instructions to the letter, I have yet to see (nearly 2 months later) the replacement toaster they promised. If I had know I would just be throwing away $50, I would gladly have spent more for a Kitchen Aid or Krups or whatever brand would actually stand behind their product. |

| This electric knife works so poorly I cannot believe that it is being sold. Anyone who gives it a good rating must not know how an electric knife works or, I got a defective one.
It was an EFFORT to slice through a turkey breast. I finally got out a regular carving knife. This electric knife is a piece of junk. | If u like cold or hot coffee this is the way to go. after making your coffee, i suggest u put some Vanilla Extract in the pot and let it sit. (a friend goes to mexico and gets the mexican vanilla, says its the best, but i just used what ever i had in cabinet) A friend works for a coffee shop in New Orleans and they say this is 'there' little secret. it can be added to the whole pot or just to a cup. if u put it in the whole mixture use about a teaspoon, or just a splash in ur cup.
